Hamilton Island and the Great Barrier Reef

on Saturday, we went to the airport and got on our flight to Hamilton island, which is a popular tourist spot and is very close to the barrier reef. On the first day there we took a 19 million hour (2 hours) hike to a regular beach! :( My parents were oooohing and aaaaaahing, but it was JUST A REGULAR BEACH!

The next day we took a 45 minute boat ride to the great barrier reef, and i got a little seasick. Next, when we arrived at the reef we went snorkeling, and it was AMAZING! We saw lots of coral and fish:

The next day we went swimming and played video games in an arcade. I don't know if anyone is farmiliar with time crisis 2, but i beat the entire game! Then we flew back to Sydney and I am posting in the airport right now!

A fun ipod touch app that I love is KIK messenger. it lets you chat with anyone who has KIK. If anyone has an ipod touch or iphone or droid, get the app and search my username, which is thejewishgiant

Bondi beach, orange m & ms, and a terrible hotel

Yesterday we went to bondi beach again. This time, though it was more crowded because it was WAY hotter then last time. We also walked along the boardwalk and found yet another obscure flavor of M&Ms: orange! Next we went to our hotel room and it had no closet or dresser, it had a terrible shower and bathroom and it smelled terrible! Eeeewwwwwww!

Featherdale Wildlife Park

Today we went to Featherdale wildlife park. we saw all kinds of animals that this post will have 3 paragraphs!
so here goes......

Wallabies, Wallaroos, and Kangaroos

We saw many Wallabies, Wallaroos, and Kangaroos just walking around! It was very amazing and you could even pet them.  I'm happy because now everyone who's been nagging me to show them wallabies, there you go! Some of the kangaroos even had joey's in their pouches

                                  Koalas, Wombats, and Dingoes

We saw many koalas on mini trees and we all got to pet one. they were all asleep except for the one we petted.  We also saw Wombats but they were hard to see because they are shy. We saw Dingoes and my dad made a flip book of it walking so I will show you that.

 Birds

While we were there we saw  many unique birds. We especially saw Cockatoos. There was one cockatoo that was really smart and put on a show for us so here are pictures of a lot of birds and a video of the special  bird:

I had lots of fun there and we even swam in the aquatic center! On my iPod touch I added Hebrew so that I can learn the letters better שלום for example, is shalom which means peace. Speaking of peace, peace y'all cuz I'm finished with this post!

Second post from Fiji

Today we woke up at 4:30 in the morning then we got on a bus so we could go to a small island called Robinson Crusoe island, which is an island where we went snorkeling, drank coconut juice, kayaked, saw a fire, knife and tribal dance, went on a jungle bush walk, saw a turtle, raced crabs, and went back home. Then, at 11:30 pm CA time, and 7:30 pm Fiji time we went to bed. The knife dances were a bunch of guys with machetes twirling and throwing them around. The tribal dances were dances by boys and girls and the dances told stories. The fire dances were guys with these sticks that were set on fire on both sides. They twirled them around and threw them way up in the air. In future posts I will have some videos of the dances.
